ORA is also a working hobby farm, growing mainly vegetables through the warmer months and producing maple syrup in the early spring. We value plants and the environment, choose to grow and experiment within the principles of permaculture and other sustainable ways of producing fruit/vegetables. If small scale-farming and learning to grow/care for plants is of interest to you we are happy to teach what we know. This type of farming is a lot of work and we can use all the help we can get so please read on to find out more about our work share program.
